Quick answer: In crypto dice you pick a target number and bet the roll will land over or under it; the closer your win chance is to 100%, the smaller the payout. Limbo is similar: you pick a target multiplier and win if the random result is equal or higher. In both games, payout is roughly 99 divided by your win chance, giving about 99% RTP.
In this guide:
A dice roll produces a random number between 0.00 and 99.99. You set a target and choose Roll Over or Roll Under. Your win chance and payout adjust automatically.
| Win chance | Payout multiplier (1% edge) | Profit on a $10 bet |
|---|---|---|
| 90% | 1.10x | $1.00 |
| 75% | 1.32x | $3.20 |
| 49.5% | 2.00x | $10.00 |
| 25% | 3.96x | $29.60 |
| 10% | 9.90x | $89.00 |
| 1% | 99.00x | $980.00 |
The formula is simple: payout = 99 ÷ win chance (%). The missing 1% is the house edge.
In limbo you choose a target multiplier, for example 2.00x. The game generates a random multiplier; if it is equal to or higher than your target, you win your bet times the target. The win chance is about 99 ÷ target percent, so 2x wins about 49.5% of the time and 10x about 9.9%. Limbo works like a crash game where you must pick your cash-out before the round. Every setting in dice and limbo has the same expected return: about 99 cents back per dollar wagered over time. That is one of the lowest house edges in any casino, far better than most slots (typically 94% to 97%). Compare games in our RTP and house edge guide.

Usually about 99%, meaning a 1% house edge.
Payout multiplier equals 99 divided by your win chance in percent. A 49.5% chance pays 2x.
In dice you pick a roll-over or roll-under target number. In limbo you pick a target multiplier and win if the result reaches it.
No. Strategies like Martingale change variance but not the house edge.
Most crypto dice games are provably fair, so you can verify every roll.
